Helen our nurse is highly experienced and has been working within the field since 1983 and was one of the first people to be trained in the USA in the use of Collagen Implants. Helen has a nursing background and holds a degree in Biochemistry and other further qualifications within the pharmaceutical industry.
Helen uses up to date methods and now advises and performs several different types of dermal fillers to suit all her clients’ needs and requirements. Helen prefers the use of biodegradable implant products. This means that over time, they are completely excreted by the body and there lays their safety. All consultations are free of charge and you will be given a medical questionnaire to fill in as well as treatment advice on a treatment that best suits your needs. You may require a test patch which is approximately £25.00. This will be refunded against further Collagen treatments performed by Helen.
Collagen helps remove and reduce fine lines and wrinkles instantly and can enhance lips to a fuller and more voluptuous look that is proving very popular.
In conjunction with the collagen clinic Helen also offers a treatment named ‘Composition Cold Linked Gel’. This is a chemical peel that can be used both on the face and on the body for many skin problems such as Pigmentation Marks, Open Pours, and Acne Scar Tissue. The Peel can also be just to give the skin a boost and a fresher and healthier and smoother appearance. There are various strengths of Peel available depending on the severity of the problem. ‘Compositum Cold-linked Gel Peels’ has been tailor made to remove the dull layer of skin, depending on the needs of the client. It promotes renewal of the epidermis and other dermal layers. With the use of a regular and professional skin care routine that Helen and Profiles staff are happy to help with will maintain the treatment results.
Finally Helen is very proud to use a system called’ IAL System’. The IAL System is a fairly new system on the British market although it has been used in Europe for a few years and is very different to anything else that we have at present moment in time. The ‘IAL System’ is being marketed as an Anti Aging Treatment, but unlike other products it does not work on filling out wrinkles. This procedure involves injecting a substance called ‘Hyaluronan’ all over into the skin; as not to target any particular area. By injecting ‘Hyaluronan’ we replace the plumpness of the skin which is what gives the skin its more youthful and plumped out appearance. The treatment involves three treatment appointments at least two weeks apart. The face, neck, chest and hands can be treated. All prices for treatment with Helen are on consultation.
