Until recently getting an unwanted tattoo removed has been a daunting task, but now there is a revolutionary method of ink extraction developed in the USA to remove that tattoo quickly, easily and permanently. E-Raze Re-Juvi Formula is a system that works much like having the original tattoo, but instead of using ink, a specially designed tattoo removal formula that bonds with the original tattoo ink and draws it up in to the skins surface is implanted in to the skin. The tattoo formula is applied just like having your original tattoo. The unique properties of the removal formula, allow it to bond with the original tattoo ink, increasing the size of the ink particles and causing your skins own natural defences to push the foreign matter out. The tattoo extraction formula works instantly drawing the original tattoo ink upwards through the skin. After the treatment the treated area is covered with a sterile dressing which must be kept on and dry.

A crust containing the tattoo ink will form over the treated area, and after a couple of weeks the crust will naturally flake away taking the unwanted tattoo ink with it. Often a secondary crusting/scabbing will occur, again containing even more of the tattoo ink, this is normal. The remaining tattoo ink will also be lightened and will move closer to the epidermal surface of the skin, which are the layers of the skin that naturally and constantly exfoliate and create new skin.

Unlike laser tattoo removal treatments works equally as well on all types and colours of pigment and ink, unlike laser which is ineffective against certain pigments and inks. This system even works on home tattoos, although due to variations in ink depth extra removal may be needed. Even permanent make up and semi permanent Tattoos/body art can be removed, although this treatment is not suitable for sensitive areas near the eyes.

Will this treatment leave a scar? The manufacturers and Profiles cannot guarantee there will be no scar, because with any tattoo removal procedure, as in effect the actual tattoo is in its self a scar, and the scar will depend on the type of tattoo artist and the home care the client used as well as the age and tolerance of the skin to the initial tattooing.The rejuvi removal process is well tolerated by the skin, the scarring rate is in a published series of 98 patients ( Cosmetic Dermatology April 2001) was 0% for permanent make up and 6% for body tattooing in the form of micro scars, compared to laser with a 5% chance of permanent and visible scarring. If you did not suffer with any complications when the original tattoo was applied and do not suffer from Keloid scarring, or herpes simplex then providing the treated area is cared for properly with the correct home care, then the risk of scarring should be low. If the original tattoo as been applied to deeply (as become blurred) then the attempted removal can be more liable for scarring. Please discuss this with your technician. It is recommended that a small trial area is tested first. It is also imperative to follow the after care instructions provided. Profiles must state that a tattoo in its self is a scar therefore scarring is minimal in most cases but cannot be unavoidable and this will depend on the individuals skin healing, daily life style and correct use of home care as well as life style.

Can I have this treatment if I have laser treatment?It is possible to treat tattoos that have previously undergone laser treatment, however the results can be less successful due to the sub dermal scar tissue left behind by the laser process, please call and talk to a technician to discuss. Under no circumstances can you have laser treatment if you have had Rejuvi tattoo removal. Important: Laser treatment on a Rejuvi tattoo removal will send the Rejuvi treated area BLACK.

On average most tattoos can be removed in approximately ten to fifteen sessions per section depending on the size, age and location of the tattoo. Very old tattoos can take extra treatment. We do not normally recommend treating a complete arm or leg band tattoo in one sitting; it is advisable to treat in sections. We normally recommend a maximum single area of two square inches is treated to minimise discomfort after the treatment. If you require a larger area to be treated then please discuss this with your technician. It will generally take approximately the minimum of two to six weeks from the initial treatment for the crust/scab to fall away. Then we advise approximately six to eight weeks for sufficient healing before the same area can be re treated again although your technician may require a longer healing time if the skin has not healed to a satisfactory stage. The most amazing thing about this treatment is that you will see a result within a few days. After the treatment session is completed a sterile dressing is applied to the treated area. This dressing must be kept on for 24 hours. After the dressing is removed there will be a good crust will form over the treated area of skin, and as the crust falls away it will take the unwanted tattoo ink with it. It is highly likely that parts of the tattoo will almost be erased. Your tattoo can be removed within just a few months, compared to the years that it can take with laser tattoo removal, This treatment is effective that a tattoo (depending on the size) can usually be acceptably removed in approximately ten to fifteen sessions, although profiles or erase cannot fuguarentee full removal as the tattoo in effect can have been performed in many ways by verifying types of pigments and needles all of which can have a large impact and effect on the over all treatment result and successfulness but compared to the dozens of treatments required by laser removal methods. This treatment is safe and effective on all types of ink and pigments. Even full or part tattoo can be removed. Profiles advise the use of silicone gel patches for the whole period of the treatment and several weeks after the final treatment to ensure and promote good healing. Dancers and sports people/lovers are required to sustain from physical activity until each area has healed as stretching can traumatise the treated area and create scarring.
